ABOUT OLIVIA

Olivia Gray was born and raised in rural Maine. Her art consists mostly of photographs, taken in day-to-day life. As someone who grew up suffering from schizophrenia and depression, she spends her days making art that she belives shows the more fun side of life on this beautiful earth.

Olivia's mission as an artist is to destygmatize the idea that good art comes from bad places, and show that people can make their best work when they feel good making it. She often takes photos of her friends at parties, out on the town, or when they're making drunk mistakes at 2 a.m. and really should be in bed. She also does abstract photography and other visual arts.

PHILOSOPHY

Olivia is a firm believer in the phrase “If art doesn't make you feel something, make your own art and feel something.” She makes her art as a testament to still being alive, despite it all.
